Today: Amun - Master of the obscured

Today I pulled the stone with the hieroglyphic representing Amun. It was on its head.
(I will explain that in another blog some other time.)

The book tells us that the god Amun is the highest in the egyptian Pantheon. Legend has it that Amun sparked life into the other gods and goddesses, that he was there before there was any other life, and yes, that Amun was the creator of life. The powers attributed to this egyptian god Amun corresponds in many points to the beliefs in the Almighty in Christianity and Jewish religion. The mysterious lore around him though, is similar to what is often found in the "religion" of many primitive races.

Amun is the god of eyesight and was called up to heal ailing eyes. He represented the needs of the normal people, not only the rulers; and he stands for the rights of the poor, protecting the principle of justice for the underpriviledged.

Amun's positive affirmations and what to repeat to myself today:

  • I concede to the godly
  • My life is developing in new and unexpected ways
  • I am willing to let go and trust in the flow of life
  • I enjoy the enigma of each moment
  • I have innumerable possibilities and options
  • I am an angel - for myself as well as for others
